Comparison of numerical simulations of perovskite solar cells obtained by means of different TCAD platforms
Perovskite solar cell is a new emerging technology deeply studied in last decade. The interest in such technology is represented by the rapid growth in its efficiency. However, several open issues are still open such the degradation and the hysteresis behavior. In order to study and fully understand the physic behind such solar cells, the experimental characterization is not enough. An accurate numerical analysis should be performed. Describing a proper TCAD model is not straightforward and may require strong effort. The aim of this proposal is to describe a PSC in two different TCAD environments (Sentaurus and Silvaco) and compare the numerical results acquired from both TCADs in order to evaluate some possible differences.
